Getting Started with Connecting Steps

The schools that get the most from Connecting Steps are the schools that start with a whole school training session. This half day session introduces the staff to the software with a hands on session, giving the teachers confidence by using the software from the start.

Follow Up Training

Some schools find follow up training useful to develop the use of the software in school. Teachers now have the basic understanding of the software and are now ready to develop their understanding further and get more out of the software, showing teachers how to get information out of the software in different ways. Follow up training is also good for new staff members that haven't previously used the software.

GAP Training

This half or full day session with the senior management team introduces them to the GAP software and how to use the software effectively. Creating and filtering reports, creating groups and transferring data to Excel for further analysis. We also check your assessment data to ensure it is being used effectively.

Data Check/CASPA Preparation

This half day session is to check your assessment data. Checking baselines, start dates, end dates, overall assessment data and correcting and updating pupil information where needed. We can also set the system up to import from your School Management System.
