Webinars are a great way for us to keep all our users up to date with what we are doing. We can easily reach a large number of users simultaneously. Our webinars will allow us to keep our schools up to date on new products, new features, how we are responding to changes from the Government and training on B Squared products. One of the best parts about our webinars is they are completely FREE!
What is a webinar?
A webinar, or web seminar, is an online workshop whereby attendees use the internet to remotely connect to a presenter to share content. Our webinars are generally in 2 parts, a presentation covering the chosen topic, followed by a short Q&A session.
What sort of webinars will you be running?
We will be running webinars on Connecting Steps and Evisense, aimed at showing users how to get the most out of the software. We will run webinars on specific areas like analysis, engaging parents. We will also be running webinars introducing people to our different products and how they can be used. We have also found that webinars are a great way of keeping schools up to date with changes that are coming, letting our customers know what the changes are and how we are adapting our products.
How many staff can be involved?
As many as you like. You have 2 options when it comes to multiple people. You can share single computer, you could use a whiteboard and speakers so a group of you can easily access the webinar. Alternatively staff can connect on individual computers. You may find using the single device option works better as there is less risk of IT issues, everyone sees the same content and watching together promotes discussion.
How do I access a webinar?
Below is a list of our upcoming webinars. When you register for a webinar you will be sent an email with instructions on how to join. You will also receive reminders just before the event on how to connect.
We use Goto Webinar software to run our webinars. You can access the webinars on a PC or Mac using the link in the email. This requires you to download and run a small program (nothing will be installed). Your computer will need speakers. You can also connect using an iPad or Android tablet by downloading the GoToWebinar app.
Your school firewall or security settings may prevent you from accessing our webinars. Please check you can connect by joining a test session using the link below. If you see “Waiting for an Organizer”, you are connected.
We will be running 1 or 2 webinars a month on a specific subject and we will be running monthly training webinars.
