Parent Talks launches today!

Season 1 of Parent Talks launches at 10am on 26 June! Following 3 successful Virtual SEND Conferences for educational professionals, we bring you Parent Talks. A series of online talks, delivered like a TV series, Parent Talks has been created to provide useful information that is easily accessible and great value for parents of children and young people with SEND.

Hear from our special guests Carrie and David Grant

Based on their own family experience and running a parent support group from their home for the past 6 years, TV personalities Carrie and David understand the challenges faced by parents of children with special needs and the lack of support available.

“One of the greatest needs for our children is to have school, health, social care and the family all working together. Parent Talks is promoting collaboration, and for this we are really grateful.”

Carrie and David Grant

With little practical guidance and support for parents and carers available from Government and Local Authorities, parents and carers of children and young people with SEND are often left to find their own support wherever they can. After listening to parents, carers and families, Parent Talks has been designed to cut through internet searches and Government policy to provide a library of practical and informative resources delivered by parents, education thought leaders and practitioners, in a format that’s easily accessible for busy families.

Why has Parent Talks been created?

Parents and carers can watch the talks as much as they want and can stop, rewind and pause presentations as often as necessary. You can also download the presentations and handouts that accompany each talk.
