Assessment and evidencing tools developed in partnership with schools in Scotland
B Squared has worked with schools in North Lanarkshire to develop our products to meet the needs of Scottish schools.
Connecting Steps assessment software supports tracking of CfE assessment benchmarks and pre-early level milestones
Teachers can show progress, plan next steps and get a whole school picture around assessment and progress. Our Steps to Excellence assessment framework breaks down the Milestones and Benchmarks into smaller steps to help you show progress for all of your pupils. It covers the following areas:
- Milestones.
- Early to Fourth Level.
- SQA National 1-4 – FREE to access for schools in Scotland already using Connecting Steps and Evisense.
- The Sustainable Development Goals – FREE to access for schools in Scotland already using Connecting Steps.
Evisense is ideal for showing evidence of the CfE experiences and outcomes (Es & Os)
Evidencing progress is also a big part of the Curriculum for Excellence which is why all our schools in Scotland use Connecting Steps and Evisense together. Evisense is our easy to use evidence of learning platform that helps staff to capture and share evidence. Evidence can be linked to the statements within Connecting Steps, creating a strong link between evidence and assessment.
